The EP starts off with the title-track, Conflict, with the vocals repeatedly saying “How to say no... to you”, a rhetorical question that one must ask when telling the person they love that they can no longer be together. You know that it is for the best, but you know it will hurt them. You muster up the courage to tell them and when you do, it destroys them. As the song goes on, the line “to you...” begins to repeat over and over again as you spiral down the tunnel of haunting memories flashing before your eyes. You fall deeper and deeper until you hit the bottom. You lay there with your limbs shattered like glass, filled with self-doubt and regret.
